Kantha or “patched cloth” refers to the tradition of producing unique, quilted fabrics that historically make something useful and beautiful out of scraps.
Kantha also refers to the craft and the stitch itself, which is a small, straight running stitch of Bengali embroidery that runs through the fabric.

Valori Wells Kantha Cloth is made of individual blocks of fabric that are stitched together and have the actual embroidery thread running through.  The embroidery quilts the Kantha Cloth top to a solid Slate back.
