Robin Pickens has been following her more personal artistic vision, after many years working in Broadcast Design. She comes from an artistic family, and finds much joy in creating and making things. She had been designing fabrics for Spoonflower for some time, when she won their Studio8 competition, opening the door for her at Moda. With Moda, she found that there was a whole new world for her to explore, not just in pattern design for fabrics, but in designing quilts and quilt patterns. With her sewing machine humming, she is happy in her studio and is enjoying passing her passion for creating on to her daughter.
