Meg Hawkey of Crabapple Hill Studio has been drawing and sewing all her life. She’s dabbled in almost every craft and type of needlework you can think of, but drawing, quilting, and embroidery have been at the top of her list since childhood. Her style ranges from very “girly” florals, through whimsical, to subdued and realistic designs. Meg turned her hobbies into a full time business in 2001, and is still happily working from her barn, in rural southeastern Washington state, where everything beautiful in nature is right outside the windows of her studio.
