Esther Fallon Lau is an ex-political advisor who found salvation and happiness through her reinvention as a self-taught indie surface pattern designer. Her work is inspired by nature, folktales and her multicultural upbringing. Esther delights in giving an off-beat twist to on-trend themes, creating whimsical patterns that are enjoyed by kids and adults alike. Her signature style uses a combination of watercolor, ink work and textural overlays to give a rich, organic, hand-drawn feel. Esther lives in the Australian bush near Byron Bay with her husband and three wild little boys.
