Carrie Bloomston is an artist who has been selling her artwork since the age of 12. She grew up in Alabama and now lives in the desert with her husband and two children. She says that everything she does is for her kids, because of her kids, or with her kids; family is everything to her. After attending the Rhode Island School of Design, Carrie dabbled in many artistic endeavors, including sewing, pattern design, painting, crafts, and even writing a book, The Little Spark-30 Days to Ignite Your Creativity.
Carrie says that there are two veins that run through her work: "soulful, abstract painter and maker of wonderful, whimsical things. Because humans are full of complexity. We just have to let the light shine out and trust our hands and heart to guide us to wherever we are headed." She says that her goal is to help people sew simple, artful stuff. "I want to help you Celebrate Your Inner Artist," says Carrie.
